"SoVik" recognizes that your privacy is very important, and we take it seriously. This Privacy Policy describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use, disclosure, and sharing of your personal information when you use the "SoVik" platform. This policy applies to activities by "SoVik" and its affiliates/associates, and covers this website (sovik.co.in) and our WhatsApp Business account.

Website visitors

Like most website operators, SoVik collects non-personally-identifying information such as browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request, to better understand how visitors use the site. SoVik also collects potentially personally-identifying information like IP addresses for logged-in users and commenters.

Gathering of personally-identifying information

Certain visitors choose to interact with SoVik in ways that require us to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information gathered depends on the nature of the interaction.

Information we collect via WhatsApp

When you message us on WhatsApp or otherwise get in touch, we may collect:

• Your name and phone number
• Your email address (only requested once you're ready to enroll in a programme)
• Information you share about your goals, location, and timeline, so we can match you with the right session or studio
• The content of your messages with us
• Which studio, session, or appointment you're interested in or have booked

How we use this information

We use this information to have a genuine, personalised conversation about your fitness goals; match you with the right session (Health Talk, Free Trial, Introduction Session, or a personal consultation); schedule and confirm appointments; process enrollment in our coaching programme; and improve how we reach people with similar goals through advertising (see "Advertising" below).

How we process your messages

Messages you send us on WhatsApp are processed using Anthropic's Claude AI to understand your questions and generate helpful, relevant replies. A member of our team reviews conversations and can step in directly at any point — you are always able to reach a real person.

Where your information is stored

Your information is stored in Google Sheets under our Google Workspace account, and access is restricted to our team. We do not sell your information to third parties.

Advertising

If you contacted us by tapping a WhatsApp ad, we may send Meta (the company behind Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp) a securely hashed version of your phone number, along with information about which stage of our programme you've reached (e.g. that you scheduled a session or enrolled). This helps Meta show our ads to people more likely to be genuinely interested, and does not share the content of your conversation with Meta.

www.sovik.co.in also uses Google AdWords for targeted marketing/remarketing to previous visitors to our site, in the form of an advertisement on the Google search results page or a site in the Google Display Network. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on someone's past visits. You can set preferences for how Google advertises to you using the Google Ad Preferences page, or opt out of interest-based advertising entirely via cookie settings or a browser plugin.

Cookies

To enrich your online experience, SoVik uses cookies and similar technologies to display personalised content and store your preferences. Visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using SoVik, with the drawback that certain features may not function properly. By continuing to navigate our website without changing your cookie settings, you acknowledge and agree to SoVik's use of cookies.

Links to other websites

The SoVik platform may contain links to third-party sites or online services. We are not responsible for the practices of such third parties, whose information practices are subject to their own policies, not this Privacy Policy.

The security of your personal information is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Country-specific terms for India

India law defines "sensitive personal information" to mean information relating to: (i) passwords; (ii) financial information such as bank account/credit card/debit card details; (iii) physical, physiological and mental health condition; (iv) sexual orientation; (v) medical records and history; (vi) biometric information; (vii) any details relating to the above as required for providing you access to SoVik; and (viii) any information received under the above clauses for processing, stored, or processed under lawful contract or otherwise. By using the SoVik platform and services, you will be deemed to have consented to SoVik's collection, disclosure, and transfer of your personal information.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with the services of our company, you may return the sealed nutrition kit within 10 days of receipt for a full refund. Refunds may be obtained by calling 7738287157. The cost of shipping will be borne by the participant, and the balance money — after deducting the value of any opened nutrition kits — will be refunded.

Your choices

You can stop receiving messages from us at any time by replying "stop" (or the equivalent in your language) — we will not send further messages after that. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by contacting us below.

Data retention

We retain your information for as long as you're an active lead or customer, and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping. You can request earlier deletion at any time.

Children

Our programmes and this assistant are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

Although most changes are likely to be minor, SoVik may change its Privacy Policy from time to time. We encourage visitors to check this page periodically. Your continued use of this site after any change constitutes acceptance of that change. The effective date above reflects the most recent update.
